Good but ended bad.

Pros

Great place to be prior to being acquired by TB. Felt like home and had good people, focus was on actual software. CTO and CISO actually seemed to care about some aspects of the job. Finally getting into some new tech.

Cons

After TB, standard private equity nonsense ensued. Layoffs, pay freezes, etc. Leadership changed caused multi directional headache. Focus turned to Connex which was a product no one wanted. TrackIt, Apex, and CSeries were all left in the backlog even though that's what kept the lights on. This was problematic for those of us who are customer facing and have to tell our customers to look into Connex instead of getting their bugs fixed. DevOps team is poorly managed and introduced bad CI/CD practices and processes that enabled unnecessary dependencies on a team that has to be begged to do the bare minimum, dragged deployment times to a slow crawl at times. DevOps director or whatever made up title he has drove off three of their best talents due to his own personal insecurities. A toxic embarrassment would be a accurate definition of how that team operates now. CISO is liked enough but has other priorities than to manage the team.
