Lacking direction and follow through

Pros

Employees are generally friendly Some offices are in good condition

Cons

Work is not based in evidence Administration lacks accountability, quick to throw you under the bus Inconsistent direction from Administration Everything is very "silo" oriented, especially between medical and non-medical services. Most staff and managers have just given up, pass the time gossiping Many staff are protected by the union and stay employed despite failing to perform Rules change daily in some departments No orientation to the organization or the work, very sink or swim Very strict dress code Technology is severely outdated at most locations Continues to apply for grants without thought of where staff will have space, once you are hired you are on your own Lack of energy spent on strategic planning, implementation, and quality assurance Sites/Programs are not given equal support or attention Leadership likes to say they are open and progressive but it is not reflected in the programs, services, or hiring practices Employees are not culturally competent to support the communities they are targeting with grant funds Providers are not given the tools they need to succeed, many are not competent and many make repeated clinic errors without any consequences. Wealth distribution across positions is poor.

Pros

To my knowledge there are no pros to offer at this time. Well, the only thing is that I am still employed, other than that, NONE.

Cons

Under paid, for a job that should be performed by two employees. The initial job description at time of hiring changed without notifications.

Horrible job

Pros

Honestly nothing. All i can say is that the co-workers you end up with become more of a "family"

Cons

-worst salary imaginable. ALL staff are greatly underpaid. No difference between holding a degree and not holding a degree. 1% pay raise equals pennies in your future checks -Way to much favoritism. people seem predestined to receive higher positions. Spanish employees are favored over all others. -DISORGANIZED. No one is every one the same page EVER! -no 401k! you get a 403b plan and they put a percentage of your pay in there every year. very small percentage over all it seems like one of the most unethical organizations I have ever worked in. This company seems like a good place for someone out of college but never to make a career. They are not generous enough with employees, offer minimal compensation and expect maximum work output, and employees leave or quit frequently (which brings down morale of current employees).
