Pros

There is so much support, training and an environment where I feel like where I work makes a difference. I feel my compensation is appropriate for the work I put in. The benefits, PTO and remote flexibility makes me feel like I can obtain work/life balance and provide for my family

Cons

This is a HARD job. The learning curve is more than anything else I have ever done. But if you can feel ok getting uncomfortable and knowing it will take a good year to get comfortable in what you are doing

Pros

Good help with credentialing and communication assistance with contracted administration members. W-2.

Cons

They DO NOT pay for professional fees (AAPA, AAFP, etc.), or related certification renewal (NCCPA) - even though it is required for your employment. If you reside permanently where you accept an assignment, they may elect not to pay for licensure renewal. If you decide to contract with this company, stipulate that they amend your agreement to include these. Also consider adding $ to CME reimbursement. CompHealth is well below industry standard in this regard.
