Pros

Speaking solely from a CS standpoint. Mostly relaxed environment. Extremely collaborative. Open workspace. Most of the people are nice to work with. Almost everyone is friendly. If you're into dogs, they exist. Insurance is good. Employer HSA contribution are nice. Standing desks, unless you're taller than 6'2". Referral bonus is legit. Lots of OT opportunities. Lots of in house opportunities for advancement. Team leads are great. Especially the ones in support. In both offices. Always work to be done. Super diverse team.

Cons

Pay is not commensurate with the workload and stress level. Training is mostly nonexistent. Learn on the fly or die trying. Staffing could be much better. As the work load has surpassed projections, there has not been an effort to increase staff in support. Support seems to get the oldest, most beat up equipment. Old, sad, wired headsets while the majority of the office is rocking new wireless Corsair headsets. Old laptops and monitors. There's a guy in support with a laptop that's so broken the battery has swollen so much it no longer did level and has broken the case. The senior tech support guy had a laptop that doesn't charge. If he uses battery power, he's got about 60 minutes. Standing desks are only am asset if they can be used. Seems like we hire a specific type of restaurant person. Culturally diverse office, but we mostly hire FOH people. Management has a type. Culture pales in comparison to local homegrown businesses.

Thanks for the candid feedback. We hear you. I will be working with the Customer Support Directors and team managers to understand point by point and seek to understand your feedback on the FOH vs other skills. As you said, we've got a diverse team and we want to allow all skills to shine and add value. And we're addressing our competitive pay questions as well. Again, thanks...and let me know if you see improvements.

Moving Towards A Great Company

Pros

The company WANTS to be great. Leadership and team members both seem passionate about their respective roles, the company, and the customers. A lot of recent [and necessary] leadership changes point towards an exciting future. The HR department is an excellent example of how the company has matured over the past 365 days. The company has the combined experience of two 20-year-old products, but the future-oriented mindset makes it feel more like a startup. Dogs in the office. I feel invested in the company's success because the company likes to hear ideas from its team members.

Cons

Pay is below market. The customer success team and the development team have been under a lot of strain for a long time now. Unclear if any end in sight. Transparency and follow-through have historically been a challenge for this organization. However, a desire to break those habits has been seen through more frequent company updates.

Good advice to management and we're definitely aware of how hard the teams are working and want to make that better and easier for all. Focusing on less and more effective meetings, improving processes and addressing competitive pay are all top of mind and priorities for us. Thanks for taking the time to give us input.

Be very wary of working here.

Pros

Free drinks. A few good coworkers. Sometimes they buy us lunch. That's about it.

Cons

Most of the critical reviews here sum up the issues well. Favoritism is rampant. Promotions are hard to come by, unless you are a favorite. Teams are lacking resources and management does nothing for some of these teams. Pay is low. Employees are motivated to refer outsiders because you get more money for one referral than your entire annual raise, not because the company is awesome.

Sorry you feel this way. As the organization continues to grow more and more opportunities will come up. About a dozen employees in past 3 months have moved into new roles and enhanced their career paths. We would love to hear from you in person to clarify your perceptions and to get you to a place where you’re feeling more positive.
