      sick and tired of being sick and tried

      little supervision allows techs to work with customers and solve problems without being second guessed

      Cons

      low pay...company excpects employess to work..off the clock...inventory..calls to customers.. e-mails...on techs dime

      Pros

      Good size with access to different technologies. Free parking. Good cafeteria. In the past there was always management changes so never bored.

      Cons

      unstable - numerous layoffs, multiple management changes, no training, lack of coordination between departments, suspended matching 401k but kept management bonuses during tough times. IT staff are housed in tiny cubes with no windows.

      Pros

      started as a temp, and was offered full-time position; solid corporate experience; not micromanaged; some benefits; management understanding about scheduling the little time off there is.

      Cons

      Client's original IT dept was outsourced, and number of bodies drastically reduced. So each tech is doing the work of several former people; the model is based on over-seas level 1 support doing their share - but that does not happen! Little *meaningful* communication - though management has always "heard me out" - nothing changes! no raises what-so-ever. Feels like a dead-end
