Pros

It is a job , thats about it

Cons

Where do you start? Your an employee by name only, you will be treated like a leased copier. No personal or emotional attachement to their decisions whatsoever - its all about $$$$$. No tools, corney shirts that are great a great topic of discussion especially once you leave the campus. DO NOT give 2 week notice - just leave when you find an actual job that respects and appreciates you.

Pros

Checks do not bounce. Closest manager is 400 miles away.

Cons

Area managers, PMO and higher level managers out of touch with the field techs. Compucom is not getting rid of all their hourly benefited employees and going with contractors with no benefits. All the reports I read stated Compucom was making money but management in Dallas, TX says we are losing money, well, all except the CEO. Compucom is only in business to support the board of directors

Pros

-Awesome, transparent, easily approachable management. Really nice folks, even the CEO was really friendly and seemed very down to earth - Solid commission plan - Felt that the company genuinely cared about their employees. Were very understanding when I needed to take medical leave and was supportive of others too (other medical issues, maternity, needing to take extended leave due to a sick family member, etc)

Cons

- Poor account management. Would often bring in job orders that were unfillable/poorly qualified, which would result in a lot of wasted time by the recruiting team - They made some changes in the commission plan during the recession that hurt team morale, but their logic was to avoid layoffs, so I guess
