Pros

CompuCom is a good place to learn how to be an I.T. professional. They offer a ton of computer-based training to all employees, and they offer exam vouchers for techincal certifications. New full-time employees receive about two weeks of paid time off / floating holidays in their first full year of employment.

Cons

CompuCom pays poorly and rarely provide raises. Turnover rates are high. Opportunites for advancement are scarce. The company has difficulty retaining talented employees. The company opearates cheaper instead of smarter.

Pros

it was a job nothing more, free training provided through online courses, laid back environment but lots of work to be done, lots of experience to gain from low level technical work for multiple clients

Cons

lack of career growth, incompetent management, no pay raises, bad team work, new hires lack proper training, no team meetings to discuss goals, management communicates very poorly if ever at all, lots of pats on the back for doing nothing of value

Pros

Starting pay for Desktop Support is some of the best in my region (but still well below national avg). My direct supervisor is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of working for, and the rest of my team is also pretty awesome. Training is readily available, to include certifications.

Cons

Raises have been frozen since before I came on nearly 5 years ago. Medical benefits have been rolled back to nothing more than an HDHP w/ HSA, which is absolutely terrible for anyone who has to visit the doctor for more than regular yearly checkups.

Pros

You have a lot of work to do most of the time, and when you don't you have freedom to do whatever you want. Some training opportunities you can take when you don't have much work to do.

Cons

No room for growth, no raises at all, including cost of living raises. This was heavily complained about, but always seemed to fall upon deaf ears. Little to no room for growth unless you want to move to a different area of the country. You're pretty much going nowhere in this position.

Pros

Great people who care and a strong client base,

Cons

Pay and benefits are not competitive with the market. Employ turnover is becoming a major challenge at all levels. Poor training for both Sales and Services teams.
