Pros

Very casual work environment. Hilarious people to work with. Everyone is very supportive, always willing to help. Very flexible. Great benefits and very supportive upper management. Also the coffee is strong and delicious.

Cons

Direct boss was located in a remote office. Even though he was very reachable, I only saw him a handful of times. I was located at headquarters but could see being located in a remote office as troublesome to some people.

Pros

They are very encouraging of innovation. I was given the opportunity to try new things and come up with new processes. The customer base is large and very exciting. If you've read about a new cool tech somewhere in their territory, they're likely a CATI customer. I found the people to be very collaborative. They were very supportive. Any time I needed something to get my job done they supplied it. If I ever move back to the midwest, I'm applying for a job again!

Cons

In my position I was in one of the remote offices and while I had enough to keep my busy I didn't frequently speak with my boss who was based in the corporate office. While that actually worked to my benefit I could see that being an issue for others.

Pros

Work with cutting edge technology in an open environment. Hands on sales engineering type engagements with small to large customers. Great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of 3D printing industry. Make connections and gain expertise for regional industry. A wonderful quick stepping stone for those who have an elevated mindset

Cons

A complacent culture of former C+ students-- most employees lack college experience or career prestige. There will be little to no mentorship. Layers of socially inept management all the way up to the C suite. Flat organization from a decision-making standpoint. They promote a very confusing flavor of "act as a business owner" culture, as it only applies to actions within the interest of profits. Leadership within the technical team (3D hardware) has a limited scope of how to promote continuous learning and career development. Lots to say about lack of diversity.
