Pros

- Work from home - Requires very little technical ability to get in - Equipment provided - PTO available - Room for growth, if you want to grow there. - You can learn a lot fast which I would recommend using to find something better paying and more organized.

Cons

- Pay is not competitive at all for the skills required and all the work and cross-training they expect you to do. However, they do award $20-$50 Amazon gift cards to people who choose to work overtime.. - No holidays off unless you request and even then there's a big chance they won't approve it. Good luck finding an available team lead on these days. They generally are not available during the holidays or they will put one on the schedule who ends up swamped having to cover multiple teams. - Lack of support for cases that require immediate escalation - Lack of internal documentation for new team members - Lack of proper training causing a lot of misinformation and call backs from irate customers - Extremely disorganized management. They pull people from any and every team to take calls and still expect you to complete your work - Very few staff meetings - Lack of transparency between upper and lower levels. MAJOR system-wide changes were implemented that required training but no training was facilitated until the new system was already put in place. If you didn't receive training and were still using the old system, you were at risk for being written up.

Pros

It's quite lenient here as opposed to other call centers. so long as you show up and are taking calls you're fine. The benefits are good for a single person. It's remote. Work-Life balance is decent if you're looking for a flexible 8 hours 5 days a week shift they have it.

Cons

The pay is much lower than other call centers. You get absolutely no upper management support. Supervisors will not take calls and will only ask that you de-escalate the issue. The only support you get is through messaging on Microsoft Teams and getting help from other colleagues in the same position as you. The benefits plan for families is bad. Training is the bare minimum and not enough time in a training period while being on phone for the first couple of weeks. The software system used to do most of your work is horrendous and clearly not made for the purpose they use it for. For a company that is working for a computer-making company, they give out very mediocre equipment.
