Pros

Company values that align with my personal values Respect for people Opportunities for training (even for someone over 50 yo)

Cons

After a succesful 1+ year project they let me go because they didn't see a new customer project in the near future (most of their clients operate in a different sector like banking and insurance)

Thank you for providing a response. We frequently hear that managers trust employees to do their job autonomously, providing support when needed. Since a significant portion of our population works remotely, keeping in touch is important to us. Frequent communication and idea sharing builds rapport, trust, and relationships among team members. Conference calls are an effective way to develop connections within teams when people are spread across the country. Chat with your manager about your concerns if you feel you aren’t getting as much out of the calls as you should. In terms of diversity training, we are proud to have a workforce diverse in backgrounds and ideas. The top rated statements in our most recent Great Place to Work survey were that CTGers are treated fairly regardless of their race, sexual orientation, and gender. We feel diversity should be understood and celebrated; training helps maintain that kind of awareness company-wide. We wish you continued success in your role!

Pros

Above average company cars, insurance also for family members

Cons

Poor direct manager, not being appreciated for what you've done or doing, they try to "kill" your salary when hiring you, they don't mean what they say!

We appreciate the time you took to provide your feedback, but cannot agree with your statement that we don’t mean what we say. ‘Reliability Matters’ is a foundational philosophy of CTG, which means we say what we mean, we do what we say, and we always get the job done. Listening to our employees, either through direct manager communications or through our annual Great Places to Work employee satisfaction survey, is a part of our commitment to continuously improve as an employer and workplace. For many years, CTG has been certified as a Great Places to Work in Belgium because we have demonstrated that we are not only listening to employees’ feedback, but also act on it and make improvements. In addition, we are committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits packages to all employees not only at the time of hire, but throughout the duration of employment. We wish you the best of luck in the future.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re happy to hear that you are pleased with your total compensation package. Competitive pay, vacation time, and benefits are important to us and our employees. We are committed to paying competitive wages and offering comprehensive and affordable benefits. This commitment was demonstrated by significant consecutive benefits cost reductions in 2020, 2021, and 2022, putting money back into the pockets of our employees. In terms of sick pay, we offer various employment options so that employees can choose one that best fits their needs. If you have questions about the various options, please reach out to your manager. Thank you for helping to make CTG a Great Place to Work!

Insurance Plan

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

An insurance plan does exist for hourly employees.

Cons

You would think an organization with over 4,000 employees would be able to negotiate a fabulous insurance package for its hourly employees. WRONG! The coverage terms are unbelievable bad and without options - $5,600 deductible for an individual and $11,200 for a family, office visit co-pays start at $50 in-network and $70 out-of-network and go up!

We appreciate the time you took to submit your feedback about CTG; it’s unfortunate to hear that you are dissatisfied with the benefits offerings. We stand by the words on our website, as our employees and their well-being are at the forefront of the decisions we make. Because we are committed to employee satisfaction, our Benefits team frequently evaluates CTG’s benefit offerings to ensure our plans meet the diverse needs of our workforce. While we are disheartened that your plan did not meet your expectations, we believe the plans we offer fulfill the needs for the vast majority of our employee population. We wish you the best of luck in the future.

Pros

Remote work, pays well, plenty of opportunity for advancement

Cons

At times we deal with too many contracts at one time, could provide better benefits like 401k matching or less costly health insurance

Pros

I have a 401K now

Cons

No matching of the 401k No opportunity for advancement No reviews for raises As Colorado has increased the minimum wage, the employees have not seen a raise in pay to keep with the cost of living increase created by increased minimum wage Hourly employees are not provided dental insurance. Hourly employees have the lowest possible coverage for health insurance Concerns raised regarding pay or better benefits are not considered PTO does not increase with your time with the company. After more than 5 years with the company, I would expect to have had a raise more than once We are all very expendable

We appreciate the time you took to send your thoughts. You mentioned the surveys we send out, so we’d like to take this opportunity to highlight our Great Place to Work focus group that has been in place for the past two years. This focus group consists of employees from various departments and lines of business within CTG. Its goal is to analyze the results of our annual Great Place to Work survey and identify key areas of opportunity we can improve upon. The group provides actionable ideas and constructive criticism to our leadership team. The feedback from this focus group has been invaluable, as it provides a perspective that represents our employee population. Several topics the focus group is currently discussing echo ones you listed, such as 401(k), PTO, and salary increases. Employees with suggestions for improvement are encouraged to discuss their ideas with their manager or a member of our leadership team.

Pros

Steady work, no benefits to speak of because insurance that covers nothing is useless.

Cons

Atmosphere of a sweat shop. IBM is full of little tyrants that have their friends, and female leads will do anything for a guy that gives them the time of day.

Thank you for your comment. Career planning is at the core of our employees’ workability strategy. Bonuses, salary raises, and career evolutions are a result of the employee’s motivation, effort, and available opportunities. When an opportunity opens, we search for the employee who best matches the position’s skillset. Employees who are not chosen for an opportunity should continue their development and apply for future opportunities. We encourage you to contact your Competence Developer to understand the development and progression process and how to work on your competence evolution.
