Pros

If you want to lie to customers and play on your phone all day this is the job for you. Avoid at all costs.

Cons

Pay well below industry standards. Expectations completely out of touch with reality causing employees to engage in unethical practices. An example would be telling customers their tablet is free and bundling it into the plan while not informing them that $15 charge is from the tablet plan. Another thing they will tell you to do is change customers insurance to TEP plus and not inform the customer, they will tell you if they ask to tell them that insurance went up. Benefits do not exist, no sick days or vaction for hourly. Medical insurance that is more expensive than purchasing on your own. Commission is low for industry, in my district only 4-5 people out of ~45 a month would hit the %10 payout. High turnover rate as well.

I am very disappointed to hear about your experience but want to address a few of your points. This is a consultative sales job and has all of the requirements that go along with that - Go Above and Beyond for our customers and your teams AND achieve sales targets. That is not always for everyone... the ones that do it well consistently make $2,500+ a month in commission payout. The best part about our compensation plan is that it is controlled by the individual! We give everyone the tools to do it but it is up to each individual on how they use them. Pay is usually a direct reflection of effort. 1. It is never ok to "play" on your phone all day - although being a technology company, it is encouraged to leverage social media and demo aspects of your devices to customers. 2. Every training we have discusses: Why - How - What. We always explain Why something is important to the sales maker, the customer, and Sprint's Brand before we educate on How to do it and What is expected. It seems like you took away more on the expectations and chose not to educate on the Why. It is never ok to add something to a customers account and any addition has to be signed off by the customer at the end of the transaction. 3. If there were any issues, hopefully you would bring them up to our HR department - we have an open door policy and take our employee experience very seriously. If you would like to voice any details, please send them to HR. 4. Our benefits are well below the industry in regards to cost and above the industry in terms of plan offers. It is different than it was several years ago but this is not an environment that we created - all small businesses are dealing with it. I hope this helps!

Pros

Rapid growth, great trainings, awesome technology

Cons

Compensation plans change often, which is understandable, being sales. But the compensation plans keep getting worse and the opportunity to make money is almost non existent now.

Pros

I generally enjoy the job itself. I like phones and I enjoy selling them to customers. There are some cool side perks from Sprint when it comes to upgrading and getting the newest devices whilst working in a store.

Cons

Connectivity Source has owned my previous company for about 8 months now and so far pay has already dropped and upper management has spent more money on upgrades to the store's cameras, A/C, and other facets than they ever put towards us. Commission payout is unreasonably low for the high amount of profit that they are making on each sold item. And the new program instilled for raises is an abysmal way to try and attract more positivity from an otherwise annoyed staff of sales reps.
