Pros

PTO and Health Benefits are the only thing keeping me here. Good management in my current role. The 401K match and HSA contribution is wonderful. Working fully remote is a fantastic perk, especially with most companies seemingly moving back to "in office" environments.

Cons

Pay/Compensation is well below the average in most positions. Management is not consistent depending on which department you land in. My pay scale was switched halfway through the year. In the current position, I started out as a salaried employee and just received a notice that I am being converted back to hourly, which messes with the utilization of a flexible schedule, PTO benefits, etc... One of the core values within the company is transparency but it feels like there is very little of that all around. It feels like the company is a sinking ship.

Layoffs and lying

Pros

Good pto and decent insurance.

Cons

They lay people off, upper management constantly sends lies down the chain. Very disorganized, no communication between depts or managers. Company is in massive debt and lost business partners, cutting benefits and bonuses. They only hire external people rather than promote someone who knows what they’re doing, expect you to have multiple degrees for entry level work. If you bring up any problem you’re immediately ostracized and retaliated against. HR is NOT to be trusted with ANYTHING.

Highly dysfunctional

Pros

Remote work Salary Benefits PTO

Cons

Connexus is highly dysfunctional. After the most recent round of layoffs, I predictably ended up doing the jobs of 3 people, only to be laid off myself several months later. I feel I was manipulated into making myself appear redundant by volunteering to take on tasks outside of my regular duties. Managers smiled and encouraged me to work on large-scale continuous improvement projects, all while getting a rubber stamp to end my employment. Just a few days before I was let go, I was asked if certain resources were accessible “just in case I leave”, so I knew a couple of days ahead of time what was going to happen.. I just didn’t expect it to happen during a less than 4 minute meeting, after which my computer automatically shut down. Ice cold. Anything you do at Connexus to go above and beyond is a tremendous waste of time and effort. This is the only place I’ve ever worked where I’ve been punished for taking on additional duties. I also started getting credit card offers from them in the mail after they let me go…how very opportunistic.
