Pros

It is difficult to think of a single positive thing to say

I was part of opening a new restaurant in one of their hotels. To say they were non-participants in the process of us preparing to open is an understatement. There was no direction or support given to us as we created the concept and prepared to open. When members of their leadership team did arrive, they were critical and condescending but still completely lacking in providing any support or direction other than telling us they didn't like what we had done. To find out that they had opinions about what they wanted the restaurant to look and feel like but waited until two days before opening to even meet the opening team is still confusing to this day. It's true they closed the restaurant two weeks after opening and fired every employee. But being jobless in the middle of a pandemic after leaving a great job and moving across the country to take this one is better than working for this group of people.

For a hospitality management company they were some of the most inhospitable group of people I have worked for. No direction, support, or plan for a newly opened restaurant space. During a site visit the majority of them never introduced themselves to staff, went to a competitor to eat when there was a technical error instead of being understanding of the situation, and had little regard to safety precautions set for COVID. I was told about my unknown firing by a caring co-worker while out of town on a day off. Was never spoken to by HR or specifically talked to about the situation, was only given a time to come collect my belongings.

I no longer work there

Cons

Everything - cooperate employees that steal alcohol (which is odd because they can have it for free) they wonder around the hotel HEAVILY Intoxicated. And they then will fire everyone after two weeks and shrug and say”maybe we shouldn’t have opened”
