Working at Adralem was wonderful for the first few years. I felt valued as an employee and the benefits were great. Since Steve Beard took over as CEO, things have gone down hill. Student service is no longer a focus, everything is about making more money. Morale is at an all-time low since RTO was announced nearly 3 months ago, with very little details announced other than “all employees, M-Th”. This is especially disappointing, as many colleagues were fully remote before Covid. They’re taking away a benefit that drew many employees here, while merit increases that are inconsistent and don’t keep up with the cost of living. I went from thinking I’d work here 5-10 more years, maybe longer, to feeling forced like I have to quit.

Senior (c-suite) leaders are tone-deaf to those on the frontlines. Numerous changes over the past year that have significant negative impact on colleagues work/life balance. Most notably the implementation of a "RTO" policy for colleagues within a 50-mile radius of an office. However for many they are being asked to report to an office after being fully-remote far before the pandemic. Bi-annual employee engagement survey results are given lip-service at best. Annual merit increases have been dismal however the company continues to report solid earnings. (I had to deliver a 1/2% annual increase to a "Fully Effective" employee). recently!) This used to be a GREAT place to work! Sadly, those days are long gone! Colleagues are leaving in droves.
