Pros

There are many good people there, though many are voting with their feet and leaving

Cons

They had a CEO change around the time of a major acquisition and the company has been in fire drill mode since. It's a combination of the new CEO firing virtually the entire senior leadership team at the time he took over while concurrently trying to integrate a large acquisition of a troubled university (who's leader also quit post acquisition). So, you have a situation where all the prior senior leaders took their institutional knowledge with them, and many of their direct reports also left. So you have a bunch of people at the top of the house (some of whom are highly qualified) but they have no idea what they're doing. And as all of this has hurt performance -- both financial and academics (enrollments), the CEO's answer is to lay off people by the hundreds and slash budgets making the situation even worse. The company is in a downward spiral, and I'm not sure how it will get itself out.

Pros

Pros: Competitive pay Remote work opportunities

Cons

Cons: Misleading information and inflated numbers shared with students and partners to meet quotas Dishonest, disrespectful, and unprofessional HR department Lack of due process: employees can be terminated without a fair investigation Toxic leadership culture with gossip, bullying, and unprofessional behavior No job security; employees are treated as expendable Poor communication and lack of support from management Summary: While Adtalem Global Education offers competitive pay, the negative aspects of the company culture far outweigh the benefits. Leadership is unprofessional, HR is ineffective, and there is no stability or respect for employees. This creates a hostile and demoralizing work environment where job security is virtually nonexistent.

Pros

Benefits The new building is nostalgic and known world wide

Cons

RTO. 4 days with the opportunity of getting a remote Friday is not work life balance and hybrid. No travel compensation for the mandated change.
