We're not a leasing company that leases and rents trucks, we're not a dealership that sells new and used trucks, we're not a trucking company that is focused on hauling freight, all we do is truck maintenance, and our mechanics are what drives our company. Friendly and approachable environment

Pros

I see a lot of reviews calling out the upper level management on how unapproachable they are however, this was not true in my case at all. When I started working here, people welcomed me with friendly faces and smiles. Everyone goes out of their way to help another if needed- no matter the job title. You just have to ask! As with anything, if you are not approachable then no one will approach you as well. Whenever I casually greet anyone (including upper level staff), I always receive an enthusiastic response and never feel as if I am not welcomed. You have to take the initiative to put yourself out there because communication works two ways. So far my experience with Dickinson has been wonderful and I look forward to continue working with them.

Cons

Work can get pushed around and pile up but this is where initiative and communication should be utilized. People are very understanding and changes are made if brought to attention.

Pros

This is a growing company and hasn't had a financially down year. Communication is definitely improving for all the company!

Cons

It's difficult to reach all employees in 40+ states, and communication with remote mobile employees will always be a challenge

As you point out, we have experienced some incredible growth in recent years, and it's because of our team that we have been successful. As we continue to expand our footprint across the country, we continue to develop our technology so we can reach our employees and our customers quicker and more effectively. We implemented a Learning Management System earlier this year, and I am confident that will help us provide better communication, with a consistent message, when we roll new programs out. We have been a changing company for the last 22 years, always trying to improve on our success, and learn from our mistakes.
