The company boasts having a great work-life balance but that is not the case. Most people work off the clock, against managements direction, because they cannot get all their work don't in the hours allotted. Most people work through their lunch too, which we MUST clock out for. The micromanagement makes you feel like you are constantly being watched and the pressure with unrealistic deadlines for tasks that take away from the core job made this place miserable. They are diverting many duties to "off shore" people in India and track that you are using them. There will be more layoffs because I think most departments will solely go to offshore offices because they are cheaper labor. Leadership says they don't like to micromanage but you can clearly tell them enjoy having their hands in everyone business and they set people they do not like up for failure. A great place to work if you are someone's favorite, otherwise you are constantly scrutinized for every little move you make. And absolutely DO NOT talk about keeping your children home, management has made it very clear they want your kids in daycare of some sort and although I don't think they can legally fire someone for it, they definitely make it known that having kids in an inconvenience to them
