Sudden LayOff

Pros

As an organization, they follow standard policies. The work culture and team collaboration are good. The IT team benefits from a five-day workweek with flexible shifts. Overall, the work–life balance at the workplace is good.

Cons

Poor management led to the sudden shutdown of all projects and the layoff of nearly 50% of the IT workforce. Layoff decisions appeared to be driven by favoritism rather than technical expertise or actual contribution to development. Despite my project remaining active and my role having approximately 75% dependency within the project, I was laid off. This decision seemed to stem from a lack of alignment with my manager rather than my performance or technical involvement.

Pros

You get paid weekly and the rate isn't low.

Cons

The entire hiring process was unorganized and they should pay you for how long it takes to complete. Also I don't understand any of these temp agencies giving you the work address last minute because for me that's a big deal. What makes me upset is the constant calls and text messages and trying to get personal. They call you any given time for no reason at all they don't even have a reason. They also put almost everything on you at last minute. I didn't want to take a job because it was 17 miles away and I told them it wasn't going to work and they kept forcing the situation and it didn't work. If they would have been upfront with the address I would have knew this ahead of time......I literally blocked them because I didn't want the job and they started calling from someone else phone. Unorganized and Harassing company.
