      Long hours - but worth every moment. Lack of deep pockets to support the greater picture slows some things down. Somehow, the leadership makes it work though.

      Pros

      Open, honest communication. Transparency. Relationship-based care. Servant leadership. Availability of senior leadership and direct supervisors. STB recognition. Crouse Choice Awards. Competitive salary and benefit package. Commitment to co-worker and organizational practice model. That's it.

      Cons

      Health care especially hospital's struggle to provide excellent care because of the recent implementation of the electronic health record. ALL organizations are struggling and Crouse is no different. The government had penalty programs for quality that are not based on evidence. Many more hospitals will close leaving gaps in care for vast communities.
