Business Outlook
Pros
Cubic used to be a great company. The ability to have your work touch the lives of millions is something you don’t get everywhere. Most employees are really nice and supportive of each other. The HQ is lovely with gym and basketball court.
Cons
Unfortunately current PE ownership is completely directionless resulting in high debt levels, huge layoffs, reductions in benefits (9/80, remote working), and a general inability to deliver on major projects resulting in large offshoring efforts to India. This has meant pay has stagnated and there is very little upward mobility for employees who are often expected to take on more work and more responsibility for no compensation.
