      Lots of Change Going On

      Pros

      The people at Cubic are the best part. Many people have been there for over 10 years so you get to know them well. Cubic has traditionally been very family-oriented and firmly behind work/life balance (well, except for when overtime is needed!).

      Cons

      Since Cubic's founder Walt Zable died, the company has less of a family feel. Currently there are many initiatives going on to remake the company and there's a lot of chaos.

      A good crew to work with, a lot of experience with the ranks

      Cons

      Just as with any other government contracting company, longevity is based on the lifespan of the contract

      Pros

      Pay was above average for experience levels. Management basically left you alone if you did your job. Regular amount of politics and "good old boy" system, but less than you see in other companies.

      Cons

      Travel was mandatory, 75%. No room for advancement.
