      Pros

      Been with Cubic almost one year. Generous salary compared to some other contracting companies, but jury not yet in on any bonus Hiring was painless - hired primarily for experience based on a good resume Coworkers and support staff are great to work with

      Cons

      Leadership could be more in touch with those of us "in the trenches." I work at a customer site not near a Cubic facility - often feel removed from what's happening within the Cubic corporate environment. Benefits could be better, especially leave accrual. Stick a crowbar in the wallet and supply some money for attending professional conferences and taking certification/development courses.

      Pros

      Good salary and other compensation. I worked for Cubic in Suffolk, VA for 5 years then Orlando, FL for 4 months. The Orlando site contracted transition services for those laid-off and provided a 2 week severance.

      Cons

      Layoffs (15%) came out of the blue in Orlando. Thankfully, I left my family in Virginia. Also, there were frequent calls for overtime to include weekends, without pay to meet project deadlines.
