Pros

In general, good people to work with. Every other Friday off (9/80 schedules). Management is _trying_ to implement policies to standardize project execution. This is a good thing.

Cons

It is no longer a 'we care for our people' company, it is now a 'we care for the $$ ' company regardless of stated company values. Pay is below average. Management does not keep their word. We had WFH and were told it wasn't changing. In April 2023, we were given 3 weeks notice to RTO 2 days a week. Facilities and IT were taken off guard. Workspace assignments were communicated late in the week prior to RTO. We needed to submit IT tickets to request equipment for our workspace. No one, not even front line help desk staff, was told what type of ticket was needed. An expected schedule still hasn't been provided. In addition, HR's RTO communications were condescending and insulting. There is limited access to technical resources. IEEE access was dropped. Engineering is limited to what is available on the internet for free. Management does not communicate. There has not been a company-wide town hall since 2022. Division all-hands might be quarterly.

Pros

Great peer level team members to work with

Cons

Absolutely no work/life balance. They just don't care. When someone leaves or goes out on a medical leave, positions are not filled. I had an admin type co-worker who assisted me go out on a medical leave that turned into 18 months. My workload increased exponentially and my "off Friday" turned into work, as well as weekends. Continuous requests to my management both corporately and in the business division fell on deaf ears. However, I was still expected to fulfill all aspects of my job and my performance reviews didn't reflect that I had taken on this other person's admin duties. HR is a joke. No concern there whatsoever. On my exit "interview", the rep gave me papers to sign and then said thank you. I provided my feedback on the company and my management to her, she looked at me with a blank look, then indicated that I would be receiving a survey where I could provide feedback. 6 months later I still haven't received a survey. What does that tell you about an organization? As other people have said in their reviews, it's a toxic environment and senior leadership takes no responsibility for leading to change it.
