Pros

Kind coworkers Best benefits I've ever had Client work is fun and engaging

Cons

Growing pains of almost doubling the staff in 3 years this means constantly getting new processes and workflows. Currently the agency feels understaffed which causes delays in projects due to resourcing So very slow to promote the talent they have within the agency which I believe causes folks to leave and find better offers

Thanks for taking time to offer thoughtful feedback. Yes, we have experienced some growing pains and are still working on finding the right balance between processes and workflows to deliver quality work to our clients on time and on budget while leaving space to keep client work fun and engaging. Staffing is also a delicate balance. Our goal is to attract top talent and keep it by providing opportunities for growth at Curious Plot. We don't want anyone on our team to feel like they have to look elsewhere to grow in their career or for a better offer. It's not always possible, but, based on feedback like yours, we are undergoing a review of all current positions and salary ranges to ensure we remain competitive.

A Challenging Place to Work

Pros

— Some super cool coworkers — I get a paycheck every 2 weeks

Cons

— Executive Leadership Team resides in their own little world and they do not understand or accept the increasingly problematic issues with the current work environment — New processes were rolled out at the same time as resource management and a new project management tool. None of which are working well at all. — Favoritism runs deep, certain “chosen employees” can underperform and still stay employed and often even be rewarded — Overall, work is over processed and lacking in strategy

100 percent agree on the "super cool coworkers." And, yes, a regular paycheck is a good thing! We are reading all of the comments posted here and appreciate your feedback. We also have to admit it stings. We're sorry it feels like we don't understand and you are probably right. We aren't as immersed in the new project management tool as you are and have dismissed some of the concerns as growing pains with our new ways of working. But we've been there at some point in our careers and understand it can be frustrating when it feels like senior management is out of touch. We hear you and will continue to ask for input on the priority areas we have been discussing in recent meetings. We hope we can count on you to be a part of the solution. We want to keep the super cool people we work hard to recruit.
