Pros

I have been promoted several times and the bank has given me many opportunities to grow my career, knowledge and capability. I accelerated my career 10 years by leaving a big bank and coming to Customers because they allowed me to be an entrepreneur within their platform. They have given me the confidence to execute for clients and fellow team members. A very empowering place to work.

Cons

If you crave a highly structured environment with tons of formalized training and programs, then it may be difficult for you to succeed here. The training is on the job and much of the structure is up to you to create. Roles and responsibilities can be fluid. Corporate strategy can be inconsistent year over year.

Pros

CB adapts to concerns and issues very quickly, there is a clear path forward and you don't feel like another number. I had some medical problems come up with regards to my family. The entire company was there for me and really went the extra mile. They made it a priority to ensure I had the time and resources to address the matter. The company promotes from within and if you work hard you'll certainly see that over time.

Cons

CB challenges it's team members with new initiatives quite often. Personally, I enjoy the fast paced and changing environment but it may not be for everyone.
