Pros

There is always work to be done. There are always deadlines to be met. There is no shortage of houses to build. Management has your back, and actually listens to their employees and tries constantly to make it a better workplace. If you're an honest, organized, hard-worker...you'll survive here, it's not for everyone. I've seen lots of people come and go.

Cons

The company does what they can to fight for their employees, sometimes, you've gotta eat some crow, the job is going suck sometimes, it'll get better, it's just the end of the quarter. I've honestly got nothing negative to say about the company.

Pros and cons

Pros

Very successful company with lots of good people working there. There can be a lot of room for professional growth between the builder, the mortgage co, the title co and the insurance co. Training is pretty good.

Cons

Pay isn't up to par, a lot of micro management by people that don't even know what you do, they do not respect work life balance at all. It's a numbers game and you are there to help them reach that next goal. There's a lot of repetitive tasks "required" and they will absolutely shame you in front of your peers, finger pointing to find fault when something goes wrong. Veiled threats are not uncommon.
