      I agree with you that the firm has great professionals to work with. I am constantly and consistently inspired by the work we do. As I am sure you know, the structural group is well regarded with exceptional technical abilities. there can sometimes be longer hours to meet deadlines, but these hours should be met with times of fewer deadlines and rest and recharge time. Please be sure to talk to your supervisor if you are not getting the appropriate amount of downtime to focus on your life outside of DOWL. That time is really important!

      Great place to work, wonderful people in the Reno Office.

      Cons

      After the merger with DOWL in 2022/2023, there's been some disconnect between the Reno office and the larger parent company that can be anywhere from a slight nuisance to significant hurdles to complete work depending on your role

      Mergers can be disruptive, particularly for the individuals learning new processes. Whereas change can be hard, the benefits of after-firm have already started to bear fruit with significant new client wins neither firm would have secured without the other. In addition, with some recent promotions and staff movement, we seen an increase in senior leadership on the overall firm from of Nevada which is sure to have a positive influence on our shared culture. I am certain we are stronger together and we will continue to put emphasis on the collective “us.”
