Pros

I started as an SDR and was promoted to AE in just 7 months with no prior cyber security knowledge. The career growth opportunities here are real & achievable if you put the work in. The coaching and mentorship from both managers and peers made a huge difference in my development. You're not just given a quota and left alone, you're guided, supported, and celebrated as you improve. With leadership genuinely investing in your growth; regular 1:1s, feedback sessions, and clear performance goals help you understand exactly what it takes to move up the career ladder. The SDR to AE transition process is super structured, I always felt prepared before taking the next step. This have resulted in me earning a spot at Darktrace Club for the past two years in a row, first in Mexico & the second in Tenerife, this has come from multiple years at 122% & 151% of quota attainment. The culture in both the Cambridge & London office is incredibly supportive, everyone shares best practises, helps each other with tough calls & celebrate authentically with each other.

Cons

Growth opportunities require you to take initiative, spend time building your personal brand, not for those seeking a slow pace. There is always something new to learn/upskill.

Pros

The team members and managers are great and are always willing to help and share tips and tricks. There are lots of opportunities for growth within the team and the wider company.

Cons

This is a high pressure sales environment, but as long as you are willing to learn and put the work in this shouldn't be a problem.
