Pros

Great supportive team and fantastic leadership at Manager, Director and VP level. Career progression is a big focus, and there is a clear path to follow, and you know exactly way you need to do to get that next promo. Career progression isn't solely focused within the Sales Development department but outside of that too. A big focus of the department is to be a talent engine for the business, so you have the ability to move into other areas within the org (Sales, Customer Success, Renewals, Marketing etc) which is super exciting!

Cons

Things move quickly at Darktrace, so the pace is extremely fast. While this can be challenging, it also accelerates your growth - you’re constantly exposed to new situations and learning opportunities, which helps you develop quickly.

Pros

First off, folks here are great. It’s a huge part of what makes you want to go into the office or hop on a call. They’re authentic and interesting. The sales attitude in the business development function is very, very collaborative. You’re given time to multi-thread, to use multi-channel prospecting, and to really think of creative ways to reach out to prospects. There’s a strong focus on career development. There’s plenty of departments to explore, and folks from these departments are always willing to chat about what they do and how you can get involved. Solid job with the management as well. Some of the best I’ve ever worked with.

Cons

They’ve been acquired! Thankfully, it’s by TB who know what they’re doing. But then again, PE acquisitions can get dizzying…

Pros

I started as an SDR back in August 2020 and was able to achieve 3 promotions within 2 years. The reason being because I had the tools and support necessary to be successful, so all I had to do was put in the effort. After those 2 years, I got promoted to Account Executive and now I'm going on year 4 strong. If you're willing to be challenged, learn from the best, and work hard then this is a very good opportunity for you!

Cons

Throughout my time I have seen a decent amount of turnover at all levels due to a lack of consistent goals/metrics. Over the past year, the company has gone through a complete transformation with new leadership across the board - there's no better time to join Darktrace!
