easy going. people are low maintenance so it is not too bad. 8 hour shifts are always guaranteed each time.

Cons

poor management because no one really cares. no opportunity for growth or success. just a temporary job. that's about it.

The only reason to work for them is if you have no other option.

Cons

The mangement/owner degrades you constantly and tells you you do not know how to do anything.Eventhough you have been working in hotels for years.Also the pay is horrible compared to other hotel chains i have worked for.When its time for a raise he disrespects and degrades you yet again with a pity raise.Hes constantly degradeing employees and the customers that come into his hotel.This praticular hotel is located downtown and barely keeps its hotel up to par within corporate limits.It constantly failing inspections by Days Inn Inspectors and during follow up inspections it barely passes.Its always one inspection from loseing its logo.

Pros

Ability to run the department according to how I want to run it. I am given the chance to learn the hotel industry after coming from a catering background. The general manager has placed a great deal of faith in my abilities to help market the business once the hotel completes it's renovations and converts to a Holiday Inn.

Cons

Not great name recognition. Viewed as a budget hotel chain for now but will be converting to a Holiday Inn by the end of the year.
