Pros

If you are someone who wants to work they won't limit or care about a work-life balance and instead overwork you.

Cons

Extremely unprofessional. No structure. No leadership. No pay raise. Bland food. Unrealistic expectations. No sense of compassion for unexpected life events. Don't show any empathy for employees with children and their needs. Extremely sexist and racist but try to cover it up by sliding employee complaints under the rug. Intimidating work environment from higher-ups. Seriously save yourself some time. Overload of work for responsibilities outside of the job title you applied for. Rude management who gaslight you all the time. Childish and toxic work envirment.

Pros

You get to say you work at the space center so people think you are cool. Your family will be impressed. 6 Free tickets to the park every year.

Cons

Terrible management. Terrible communication. No room to move up in company. When you work in education department you can’t even get a job in any other department or move up- unless you know someone or have been working for the space center for 10 years or more. A lot of micromanagement which can be frustrating having several different managers telling you different things multiple times. People call out all the time forcing others to do double the work and certain people get away with calling out while others are punished. LOW PAY. the lowest pay in the park… for the amount of work that is required it is just crazy how low the pay is. Most workers are part time. A lot of memorization required. Summer camp is terrible to work. Very stressful and mismanaged. Simulators falling apart and not working on a daily basis. Constant drama between workers and management doesn’t do anything about it. High turn over due to workers feeling overwhelmed and overworked. They don’t feel appreciated. Overall a terrible place to work.

Pros

The only pro I can think of is that being a private company, they don't have to act according to shareholders. This allows them to pursue opportunities they'd otherwise have to pass on.

Cons

I'm not sure where to start or what all to share honestly. The company was a sinking ship after losing a contract and I transferred companies. I was professional, provided a two-week notice, and offered to help in every way I could. After turning in my notice, I was deceived by my boss, sent a fake lawsuit, and intimidated by my boss' boss. It was actually a little scary, keeping in mind the company's reputation with hiring the mafia back towards its starting days. After I left the company, they slandered my name to my friends that were executives in the company. They reached out to me personally after the fact just to let me know what the top executives were saying about me. It was all lies and horrible things. It was heartbreaking honestly after I gave them 110% effort for 3 or 4 years. Also, Jeremy Jacobs has a terrible reputation within the company for making his employees wait hand and foot on him. The top management all talks poorly behind his back. It's unprofessional and creates a bad environment.
