Awkward transitional period.

Pros

Great set of people with a large sense of collaboration and team building. They really invest in your development as both a salesperson and an individual; especially within the training.

Cons

It's clear the parent company Internet Brands has their own agenda, with little to no regard of its current employees' well-being or desires. Mass lay-offs and a reduction in benefits is just the start, followed by the weakening of its unique corporate culture that so many of us clung tightly to. The product is lacking innovation and is struggling to maintain marketshare in a highly saturated market. It's been sad to see the downfall of a great company due to the ever-powerful desire to maintain profitability for its investors.

Been in flux for a while

Pros

Due to so many changes to the management, you can have a lot of autonomy here and tackle problems you think are important if you can convince the right people. The benefit of a lack of oversight is that you aren't micromanaged. You make yourself as useful and integral to the team as you want to be. My coworkers are the reason I stay. Flexible work hours, and good work/life balance. Great place to start your career with a lot of industries served to gain experience and build your resume.

Cons

The last 1.5 years have been constant transition between parent companies and management. Sometimes feels like we are just getting by, no more. It can be a volatile place to work. We've seen a lot of management and a lot of lay offs. New ownership can definitely stingy and doesn't really know what it's like to own a SF company, where the competition of corporate perks is high. You won't get the bean-bag-ping-pong-free-lunch-happy-hour experience here.

Demandforce is not the same under Internet Brands

Pros

Free snacks and drinks. Free lunch once every week or two. $75 for public transit or parking every month. $650 for fitness expenses every year.

Cons

New management has cut compensation and benefits relative to Intuit and has replaced almost everyone in upper management. As a result, all of the best people are leaving. The business is not doing well but instead of investing the focus is on cutting costs wherever possible. I would not recommend joining this company.
