Is commision based pay only. They will ask you to unload trucks and pull deliveries even though you get no compensation for it

I’m glad you are happy with the training, scheduling, and your coworkers! We try hard to create a great environment for our employees. To address your concern, our salespeople from time to time will need to do some work in the warehouse whether that is to help unload trucks, load out product to our customers, and pull deliveries. We work as a team to get done what needs to be done. Also, once someone is promoted into management, they will need to have a working knowledge of how to manage the warehouse and the best way to learn is to be a part of it. This aspect of the position is covered in our application, as well as during the interview process. Unlimited advancement opportunity, great pay, friendly work environment, fun contests that are actually not hard to win if you do your job right.

Cons

Have to work weekends and most holidays but thats to be expected in retail.

Easy work, good compensation if you put in the work, fantastic opportunity to grow into management

Cons

Benefits could use some work, 401k match isn’t near as much as most employers, health insurance coverage doesn’t kick in until deductible is met, and there’s only that choice for medical.

Thank you for leaving a review about your experience working here at Denver Mattress. It’s good to hear you like the management career opportunities we offer! Our 401K match is 1%, however, we do offer higher compensation than most retail employers. Most financial experts recommend a diversified investment portfolio so this allows you to invest your money as you see fit. As far as the medical insurance, you are correct in that the benefits kick in once you have met your deductible, which is normal for medical insurance. The major benefit we offer is, once your deductible is met, there are no out of pocket expenses for the rest of the year. Many of our employees or someone in their family has had extensive medical procedures and were only out of pocket the deductible.
