Pros

The chance to work with very talented individuals, collaborate with a wide variety of clients across multiple industries, learn other skills on the job, and pad your portfolio.

Cons

The turnover rate is alarming and under-reported. Compensation is on the lower end of industry standards. The expectations set during the hiring process are almost non-existent onsite. Nine-hour workday is already long, but your weeks can go up to 80 hours without the chance of overtime. Most teams you would be joining are understaffed, and training is inadequate. Expect to clean up preexisting messes and cover for or seek cover from other understaffed offices.

Thanks for your note and the feedback. I truly appreciate it. We enjoyed having you for the short time we did, and I wish it could have lasted longer. You are talented in your craft and with your clients. I'm bummed that we didn't get the opportunity to sort through these issues, as 80 hour workweeks are certainly not the norm here. We would have been happy to provide the training, development, and support needed to get you to the level where you wouldn't have to spend so much extra time beyond what's reasonable for a copywriter. I know the successful copywriters at Drive generally spend a normal 40-50 hours per week and I'm confident you had the skillset to get there. Best of luck in all your endeavors, sincerely. Pros

The pay, which made sense after about 4 days.

Cons

Innumerable. Work life balance, lack of training, lack of solution oriented leadership, communication is a joke. And that doesn't begin to scratch the surface of the "office politics" that go on. Everyone talks about you, everyone knows when you mess up, it's literally like walking into a lunch room in high school everyday knowing you're the one everyone is snickering about. Trust everyone else's horrible reviews. I wish I had.

Pros

-You will get to deal with a lot of different clients in a short amount of time. The relationships you make with clients can lead to great things. -You'll be able to accumulate a diverse portfolio quickly. -The people make the job easier to deal with. -There are some perks to working with small/medium businesses in your area. IF they're happy, you can get free stuff. -There are very few good leaders in this company, but as soon as they leave, corruption will blossom.

Cons

-Not good at your job but know how to suck up to the right people? Congrats! You'll do great here. People get promoted when they are the direct cause of client losses but those who spend tireless nights and weekends fixing those mistakes get penalized. -Goals change yearly and are unclear. Even if you exceed expectations, you will still be denied promotions/raises because success will be measured differently and they "don't know what the new system will look like". -C-Suite is absolutely incompetent and those who get promoted are the ones who party with their superiors. The ones with real solutions get "quiet fired". -There is no work/life balance. C-Suite INSISTS you cannot do your job from home while they show up to the office once a month. -Compensation on the operations side is insulting. They trick you with the promise of bonuses but the goals are extremely unattainable. -Turnover and nepotism are normal here. -Sales will do anything to sell. "Sales make the dream, Operations break the dream". They can never go wrong, even if they have to lie to hit goals. -Incredibly toxic work environment. The CEO calls operations staff "greedy, lazy monkeys" and employees are encouraged to report their coworkers. -They will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on their yearly convention, overly expensive office spaces, paying rent for C-Suite employees, and C-Suite salaries but can't even afford an inflation raise when they operate in cities like Miami, Tampa, and Nashville. -Your pay is based on St. Louis.
