      Pros

      Good compensation package. Otherwise not worth the time to apply

      Cons

      I was hired in as an insurance SME and explained up front I was not a a developer or programmer. They insisted they were not looking for me to fill that role. In spite of that they made me take programming classes that I was not hired for and I was belittled when I failed to be able to write code which is not was my job description. Essentially they made me feel less qualified than I actually was for the position as initially represented. Shame on them.

      Pros

      Duck Creek pays well and they have competitive Benefits. They have a well developed DEI program.

      Cons

      Poor Leasership from the top. No clear direction on priorities, company vision is not in touch with the reality of where the business is at. There are so many functions in this business that are not setup and working properly that folks who are actually trying to do their jobs are constantly in reactive mode. Leadership does not seeem to have a clear understanding of what the problems are nor do they understand how to fix them. Which has resulted in years of constantly changing programs and priorities that never get completed and yield no results.

      Pros

      DCT has the potential to be a great company again / with exceptional products, a solid customer base, and a brilliant partner ecosystem.

      Cons

      Leadership lost their way post-IPO and should go back and review their company values. People are leaving because they don't feel respected so it feels like a sinking ship. That said, those of us who've left are keeping our stock and will be rooting for you from the sidelines.
