Pros

I met some wonderful people.

Cons

Challenging due to the lack of structure, with minimal time allocated for tasks. Working 12-14 hour days is necessary to keep up. Expected to respond to emails and Slack while out of the office or on vacation. Minimal guidance provided for success, and excessive questioning is discouraged. The work environment lacks teamwork, encouraging individual work rather than collaboration, contributing to a toxic atmosphere.

Thank you for sharing your review. We encourage all employees to lean on our value "Be Direct, With Empathy" to share real time feedback directly, and one of our most celebrated values is "We Not I," as we're all one team focusing on a common goal. We want everyone at Dutchie to enjoy Flexible Time Off and prioritize mental health so they can bring their best selves to work. We’d love to hear more about how you’re feeling - if you’re comfortable, our People Team would love to hear from you and chat more about your experience.

Pros

Great benefits, unlimited PTO, off sites once a year.

Cons

Nepotism runs rampant in this organization. Many people from Toast have come over and have influenced the organization of the org. Leadership says one thing but executes in a totally different manner. There’s a lot of stat padding and back patting going on during the review cycle. I would rather them flat out say that they are in it for the profit of than being under the guise that they want to impact and uplift the culture around cannabis. It was all kumbaya and fun in the beginning but as time when on, you can really see their intent.

Our mission has always been to provide safe and easy access to cannabis for all, and we remain steadfast in our pursuit. Our People Team continually reviews our total rewards and benefits package, and we are always aiming to improve our programs and processes. We continue to evolve our performance review process to ensure that we are rewarding employees in line with industry standards.

Pros

Remote work Unlimited PTO wouldn’t recommend taking more than 1 or 2 days off at a time though

Cons

Unrealistic workloads Constant change but in a disorganized floundering company way, not an agile startup way. Sales and Leadership have no idea how the product works, they will promise anything in order to close a deal even if it doesn’t make sense or is not possible within the system. Future of the company hinges on a payment product that barely works for most customers right now.

We encourage all employees to work with their managers to take time away from work using our Flexible Time Off policy. We are laser focused on product stability and reliability, with a customer-first approach to any product updates or changes. Gathering feedback and getting into details directly with customers is something we do daily, which helps us prioritize and grow our product with customers top of mind.
