Pros

Competitive compensation, great people, good work/life balance, lots of fun projects.

Cons

Some pieces of the legacy codebase are frustrating to work around. The engineering culture hasn't been super modernized. No 401k matching.

Pros

- The people at Dutchie are an absolute joy to work with. - The cannabis tech industry is booming, and Dutchie is at the forefront. - The company offers a decent benefits package, including unlimited PTO.

Cons

- Lately, there has been a greater push to increase productivity with a "volunteers only" mentality. Work-life balance and employee well-being seem to be on the back burner. - Engineering salaries aren't quite as competitive as they should be. - The cannabis industry is constantly evolving. While this Wild West mentality can be fun, the flip side is a lot of your hard work gets tossed out the window with changing regulations and legislation. One must always be prepared to pivot to a new solution.

Thank you for your review. While the cannabis industry is known for tossing us curveballs, we’re in it for our customers and our mission. We are glad to help our customers navigate industry changes that will lead to their continued success (though this does often mean pivoting as you mentioned!). Employee well-being is important at Dutchie, and our benefits package and generous PTO both emphasize the importance of prioritizing mental and physical health. Dutchie provides equitable and competitive compensation to attract, retain, and reward high-performing employees. We tie achievement of performance goals to total rewards, including cash compensation, equity, benefits, skills development, and career progression opportunities. We are committed to continually improving diversity and inclusion at Dutchie and agree wholeheartedly that our differences make us stronger!
