Disappointing Experience!

Pros

Co-workers were great and a pleasure to work with!

Cons

The advertised Corporate culture is not reality. Sr. management doesn't walk the walk. Sr. management is young and inexperienced resulting in poor decisions. Way too much overhead which is killing profitability.

I agree with you that Dynamic Team Members are great and a true pleasure to work with. Our Team Members are one of our favorite differentiators for Dynamic Recycling. Regarding Senior Management , while we do have some leaders less experienced than others, we are all open to honest and constructive feedback. Having a team of diverse backgrounds is an important element of a successful organization, and results in higher profitability. Often times adding overhead with additional Team Members can seem counterproductive; however I can assure you, we take every measure to make sure that we are hiring top talent who will make us a better, stronger and more profitable company. Decisions to add Team Members isn’t taken lightly and is weighed accordingly. We are happy to be part of adding jobs in our community, in our company and adding to the Dynamic Family.

Too many people think they're the boss. 'Too many chiefs not enough Indians' people who have no idea how to do your job wants to run their mouth about what you should do.. pay is average, benefits suck.

We appreciate your feedback and strive to continuously challenge ourselves to grow and make positive improvements. Growing at 30%+ year over year has some challenges, one of which is the requirement of growth with constant change. We are building out policies and procedures that will scale with our growth, but are still on our journey to completion. I’m disappointed to hear that you do not find our benefits plans as lucrative as others; we carefully select our benefit plans based on feedback from team members to make sure we are providing the benefits they value most at a competitive cost. Additionally, we make every effort to ensure that we provide benefits to our team members that assist them be the best they can be, even outside our comprehensive health and welfare benefit package such as tuition reimbursement, personal financial literacy tools, paid parental leave and many more.

Pros

From day one, I felt so welcomed and embraced by the team at Dynamic Recycling - I can't imagine working anywhere else! This is an atmosphere where coworkers don't just call each other team members to satisfy an order from leadership. On the contrary, the concepts of team work and collaboration are woven into the culture and deeply ingrained in our day to day functions. From monthly team lunches, team appreciation events like renting pontoon boats on Lake Onalaska, and the annual Christmas Party, I have never felt so appreciated and valued as an employee. As a young professional, most employers consider individuals at this stage in my career "too green" to offer valuable perspectives at the decision making table. Not the case with Dynamic! From the start, I was encouraged to share my thoughts, opinions, ideas and crazy project proposals in the name of constant innovation. This open door/open mind philosophy is encouraged and practiced throughout all departments, and for me it's a point of pride in my employer that many of our innovations have come from the team members on the front lines, as opposed to some out of touch executive as seems to be the case in much of the corporate world.

Cons

One of my favorite things about Dynamic is likely a major Con for many other people. This is an incredibly fast-paced, driven, ever changing, feet to the fire environment. If you don't thrive in the craziness of a growing company, this isn't the right place for you. Dynamic Recycling is the place for movers and shakers, and people who are motivated by more than just punching in and collecting a paycheck. We all wear many hats, which is a huge draw to individuals who like to get their hands on many diverse projects, but again, is not the right environment for everyone.
