Pros

They have a good culture at Dynamic. The CEO is very kind and likes to gives back to his employees with various additions to benefits and company wide wage increases.

Cons

The manager to employee ratio is a little large and tends to be over managed in some areas. The pay is lower when compared to some other companies and the wage increases are usually quite small.

Thank you for your feedback. Thank you for your kind words regarding our CEO’s giving back; we are pleased to know that you recognize the emphasis placed on our Team Members here at Dynamic Recycling. As with most growing companies, creation of new jobs is frequent, as is creating efficiency. In order to provide the best level of service possible to our Team Members we want to afford each Team Member with management that is accessible and increase efficiency in all areas of business. Our compensation offerings are quite competitive within the markets we operate; however in order to remain competitive we consistently monitor the marketplace and make adjustments as needed. I would encourage you to speak with your manager or People Operations if there are any continued concerns!

Single Best Job I've Ever Had

Pros

I started with the company knowing only one other employee, but quickly felt part of a family. The company cares about all of the employees, and offers a very competitive benefits package. This includes team luncheons, twice yearly team outings, giveaways, quarterly profit share, and many paid holidays. The culture is one that focuses on business, but also of growing each employee both personally and professionally while having fun in the process. I've got children, and was told on my first day that I wasn't expected to miss what's important. I very rarely miss a game, or a p/t conference. I simply communicate what is going on, and when I need to leave. And I have yet to be told no, or charged with a day of PTO as long as I get my required hours in.

Cons

I can only think of one. Almost unattainable goals are set. However, I've found that there are not consequences for not attaining the goals. They are set so high to help drive employees to the next level. It's the old adage, "Strive for perfection, you will never attain it. But you'll reach a high level of proficiency." And from what I've seen, it works.

We’re so glad to hear that you’re happy here at Dynamic Recycling! You couldn’t be more correct when you say “the company cares about all of the employees!” We live our mission daily by empowering our team members to better themselves, their families and others, and believe that an essential piece is offering great benefits! As you noted, our quarterly goals are meant to be stretch goals, in an effort to push each of us further in our development. The beautiful thing about our OKR goals is they make each of us strive for more and we are offered the tools to attain whatever we set our minds to. Thank you so much for your review, we are so glad you are on our team!

Pros

It's a job that ultimately helps the environment.

Cons

Upper Management is extremely religious and uses that to shame/blame people who don't follow their ideology. It's the "good ol' boys" that run the company. The owners' friends, classmates, and church buddies. You have to know someone to get any decent positions. The VP's and head honchos all go back to high school and college, and still act like it!

Thank you for your honest feedback. Dynamic Recycling is dedicated to creating a work environment of high integrity, service and fun and am sorry to hear that your experience at Dynamic Recycling did not match our intentions. We believe that autonomy is extremely important and do our best to foster growth and innovation through freedom of choices. With that said, like most companies, there are specific tasks and duties which each team member must comply; however we are vigilant in not micromanaging our Team Members. While it is true that most often times we see local candidates apply for positions, I’m pleased to say that our Talent Acquisition team has and will continue to identify talent not only in our local area, but also outside of our area bringing talent and resources to the La Crosse area. If you would like to share any further information please email me at hr@dynamicrecycling.com so that we can schedule a time to talk. Thank you again for your feedback as it helps us make Dynamic Recycling a better place to work by continually improving.
