Pros

The entire engineering organization is made up of great people who have each other's best interests in mind. High focus on work-life balance. Push you to work hard and succeed while being understanding of challenges and setbacks.

Cons

Compensation is SLIGHTLY below what I would consider competitive. Part of that is due to the relatively high price of benefits such as group health insurance. Never paid so much at previous companies.

Pros

The company has been around for years. People have been at the company 40+ years. Stable.

Cons

Communication at the executive level is lacking. Everything has to be approved, yet it takes forever to get it approved.

Pros

As the Safety Adviser for multiple regions, I was able to work from my home office, set my own schedule, which was an excellent benefit.

Cons

The work load was such that while working from home, I was working 12-14 hour days, including weekends.
