Little opportunity for advancement

People were friendly, office space was unique

Cons

Support technicians had very little opportunity for advancement. When I was brought in the manager stated that he knew that I was overqualified. Although I did have the opportunity to advanced to a more senior technician role, my background was database development and the roles that became available that I applied for, I received a standard rejection letter. Not even a courtesy interview and I had over 20 yrs of database development experience.

The team members genuinely want to help customers and do a great job

Cons

New ECI mandates are prohibitive and take you away from customer interface time, making it much harder to be efficient. Corporate has fallen into the micromanage trap and everything is spiraling out of control. Employees are unhappy. Work life balance used to be promoted but also gone. Tracking every minute of all eight hour day is absurd.
