Pros

A few good people and some awesome students. They worked hard to be sure they looked good to the community.

Cons

Wow and not in a good way when it comes to upper management aka executive titles. Lack of trust, not willing to listen to new ideas, no respect for hired leadership, values did not align when it came to decision making, fear management, if you are not a part of the inner circle don't plan on a long term career.

Pros

Flexible hours mean you can "customize" your schedule to meet your needs. You can make good money on a part-time basis while still holding down a "day job", if you desire. Benefits, like paid certifications and access to educational resources, is great. Full-time faculty get nearly entire Ph.D. paid for, as well as near full-ride scholarships for family.

Cons

Students, regardless of age and background, have a tendency to feel entitled, i.e. many are there just for the degree but not the education. Dealing with people who are "willfully stupid" is frustrating and stressful, e.g. missed deadlines because students feel that a week between deadlines isn't long enough.

Pros

The company offers great compensation for those interested in beginning in the Education Industry. You earn 8 hours of PTO each month, which is decent. If you are meeting your goals for enrollments you are praised and treated well. They offer discounted education for those that may not have a degree prior to starting. The discount is significant and really keeps you motivated with school. The daily conversations with students are rewarding. It makes you feel great knowing you are helping someone achieve their educational goals.

Cons

Many federal holidays are not observed. When not meeting per term goals you will be written up and threatened your position. Not sure how that will help you in doing better. To me it makes you feel less adequate and will show in your work. Its all about numbers with this company. If you make the Director of Admissions look good life is great, if you make them look bad, watch out. There is major lack of communication between management and staff. Emails/Calls/IMs for assistance go unanswered for hours and sometimes never answered. If you need help with a student you are told to give them a call for help. In my experience I only have about 5% success rate in actually receiving the assistance I need.
