Pros

The company employs many who have significant experience in the industry. Leadership truly lives the company's mission of combatting financial fraud and managing risk. The company utilizes progressive technology to create services and secure data.

Cons

Good place to work for a while, but the slow pace of progress becomes frustrating. A lack of focus can also be frustrating.

Friends don't let friends work at Early Warning

Pros

Convenient location, Casual dress code, Friendly Concierge and Security Guards, Covered parking available and reasonably priced, (difficulty meeting the 20 word minimum for this entry)

Cons

Completely unprofessional atmosphere. Far too many layers of middle management, who don't seem to do much ... spend more time on their personal cell phones than anything else. The culture has allowed bullies and back-stabbers to flourish. It's perfectly acceptable for certain individuals to demean and yell at others they consider "beneath" them. The turn-over in personnel is astounding and open positions seem impossible to fill. Respect for others is a foreign concept.

Pros

HR puts on a ton of events and is always giving stuff away. Pretty flexible days. A paycheck?

Cons

IT and Security The IT and Security department seem to always be at odds which results in everything taking twice as long to get done as it should. The management of the security department is a mess. On the technology side, management is so full of "black-helicopter-paranoia" that everything is an emergency. In the other security group, the management seems to know virtually nothing about anything and spends their time randomly walking around looking for things to complain about. This level of dysfunction isn't too surprising, considering it comes from the top. The only good thing I have to say about security is that there are one or two dedicated engineers there that seem to actually get work done and not upset everyone in the company at the same time. The Operations department isn't any better. Management seems disinterested in working half the time, and the other half the time they spend counting tickets. No one seems to know what anyone else is doing and many of the employees don't even seem to know what they are doing. At a high level, management seems to have a good idea of what needs to get done, but they don't know how to do it themselves and it never gets communicated down to their minions. Projects are horrible mismanaged and never executed properly, strong personalities conflict within the groups, and there are never enough resources for what is asked of the department, probably because management spending all the money on their bonuses. We have a few hard workers, but they seem to have given up long ago.
