Pros

I’ve worked for Eden II Programs for over two years. Eden II is a mission-driven autism agency with an excellent reputation throughout NYC and Long Island. The work culture is extremely supportive and feedback is also encouraged. My colleagues truly care about the work we do, as well the participants we serve. They offer an excellent benefits package, a matched 403B plan and sufficient PTO for full-time employees.

Cons

After 2+ years with Eden II, I have no cons to report! The work is not easy, but everyone comes in day after day willing to go the extra mile.

Pros

I have been working for Little Miracles Preschool for 5 years and for the agency for almost 10. I speak so highly of what we do at our agency always. The children have saved my life in so many ways. Eden II has many great things to offer. The staff is very experienced and knowledgeable in helping students meet their individual learning goals. Administration is always there to help staff when needed in the classroom with wants and needs of staff and children. In my personal experience, the administration at Eden II, from coordinators and director, to HR personnel are always excited to collaborate and offer suggestions and advice for any sort of problematic situations. It’s nice to work for an agency where you are a familiar face to so many different people in such a large agency. I would highly recommend working for the Eden II team. We make a difference.

Cons

Some staff are hired that expect to receive an abundant amount of money. In comparing our school to other Department of Ed schools, there seems to be discrimination because we all have the same certifications and yet make way less than any schools in the board of Ed.

Pros

Extremely rewarding to work with and provide services for young children with autism. Hard working staff that work together as a team. It’s obvious that staff come to work everyday to make a difference in their students life and have their students best interest at heart. Administration is hard working, knowledgeable, and extremely dedicated. Administration make themselves available when needed for assistance, help with programming and behaviors. Agency helps you to further your education by offering tuition reimbursement.

Cons

At times working with children with behaviors can be tough. Staffing can sometimes be low when people call out. In regards to both cons, administration does their best to help assist in anyway to ensure staff does not burn out.
