Pros

Job security: Because there is such a high turnover, they don't typically fire people. Most quit or leave crying and don't return from their lunch break.

Cons

They pile work on you and don't care if you just got out of the hospital.

Pros

Some people are very nice and helpful. Some groups have good culture. Work life balance is good compared to some public accounting firms.

Cons

One group is incredibly cliquey, mean, and full of gossip. They create such a toxic and unhealthy work environment, it's unbelievable. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that the firm has allowed this nonsense to go on for years. Some of these so-called partners shouldn't even be partners in the first place. Their leadership skills are absolutely atrocious. It's clear that they have no idea how to effectively lead and manage a team.
