The backup and disaster recovery market is huge. Both eFolder and Axcient have products with great potential and poised to take away business from competitors. Great place to work because esprit-de-corps and morale are high!
Cons
The company is wasting money on spreading out the work force on different geographies: Cuptertino, Denver (US) and Smolensk (Russia). For a small start-up that makes just a few measly million dollars of income a year, can you afford to spread out so much? Why not consolidate? Different geographies come with different work cultures. Therefore there is a barrier in communication and particularly technology transfer. There are a lot of people who just want to keep their H1B status, paychecks or whatever ... so they keep their mouths well shut.
