Pros
Okay, health insurance, multicultural, fully stocked kitchen, awesome coffee machine, nice desks, super relaxed Fridays.
Cons
Retrospective view: a revolving door of C’s. CEO, CFO, COO, CRO. HR is nearly non-existing; someone just carries its title. Job security? Outsourcing is fine as long as the time zone matches your business hours and there’s minimum language proficiency. You will not be hired from within. All management positions are outsiders and/or outsourced, alienating employees and destroying work culture. Constant lies and cover-ups. Never answering questions and directing you to another person. Sadly the best employees are leaving or have left and you are stuck with pointless managers. Voices are not heard, they act as if they are listening, but you are never truly heard and ideas are ignored. Meetings will happen to justify their jobs and question you on what you are doing, ask to explain how it is done so that they can report back to even more managers seeming knowledgeable. None of them can actually do the job neither do they care. The “Axcient values” that you chose to uphold, shouldn’t just sound great on paper, they need to become the culture of the company as a whole, yes managers you’re included there. Customer success? Thanks for your contract, we’ll forget about you and move on to the next pawn. No worries, next quarter we’ll break even and be cash-flow positive… oops, that was years ago.
