Pros

Nice location, free parking and free lunch. The people are friendly.

Cons

The company has downsized numerous times in the 20+ years I worked there. They continue to have issues with expenses but haven't taken lean operations seriously. instead they keep selling off businesses. They are now left with only their commercial product so they need to do something soon.

They have outsourced most of their services to The Mutual Group, so if you want to work for GuideOne you have to get a job with The Mutual Group.

remote work. minimal micro management. barely any meetings.

Cons

Tech could be better. it was all good until Guideone was acquired by The Mutual Group. said everything will be A OK. solicited alot of feedback from Employees, then forced employees to say that it's a certified great place to work. Then layoffs happened. more will probably come. uncertain future
