Pros

-choice of schedule -remote work -paid training -response to time-off requests are prompt -breaks between calls are decent

Cons

-calls run pass shift very often -adherence is effected when breaks aren't taken on time due to long calls which cannot be prevented by interpreters -No paid leaves -limited pay ( 15/hr PT, 17/hr FT) based on level of stress from long calls, difficult customers, and unpaid sick/personal leaves

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and appreciate you taking the time to let us know there is room for improvement. LLS interpreters handle calls from individuals who rely on us, on our linguistic/cultural knowledge and abilities. As professional interpreters, it is incumbent upon us to ensure equal language access for all, including during lengthy calls. As with all call handling, we do have long call handling protocols in place. At LLS, we regularly review industry compensation and find that our compensation and benefits are consistent with the industry. We wish you well in your future endeavors.

Thank you for your 5-star review and for the more than one year you have been part of our team in Monterey. We are glad to hear that you feel supported by a well-organized company, as we strive to provide a structured and professional environment for our interpreters. We also appreciate your perspective on same-day assignments; flexibility is often part of the meaningful work we do to support clients when they need language access most. Thank you for the important role you play in delivering quality interpretation services.

Pros

Stay home. That's all. Nothing else.

Cons

Fifteen seconds to recover between stressful calls. The health insurance they offer is super expensive for the poorly paid for hours you get. It does not match. Micromanage everything, constant supervised and not a proper guidance after being pointed the errors of the week. Extreme poorly paid for the higher quality of job that they want. The company charges 3 or 4 dollars for minute, but an interpreter gets paid 15 an hour before taxes. See the difference? Days off unpaid always. Not fair. Not even during sickness, grief or personal emergencies.
