Pros
- People just genuinely want to do good work and do good by the customer, limited politics in my opinion - Having worked in multiple fortune 500 companies, I can say confidently that management's ego is limited compared to others that I have worked with. Majority of managers were promoted by doing good work and caring - Company role structure is flexible and one can be quite mobile in changing to more senior roles. You're not limited to becoming a people manager
Cons
- Workload can vary greatly depending on project that you are assigned to, this is not a 9 to 5 if you're in a client facing role - Having retention troubles in great resignation era. I believe it's less culture/company and more salary/incentives. Compensation was above-average pre-pandemic, but has not adjusted enough for existing employees
